Your mind never slows down and everything feels like too much.

You might find yourself...

  • feeling overwhelmed by everyday responsibilities.
  • carrying a constant pressure to do better.
  • becoming emotionally flooded or overstimulated.
  • struggling to start or finish tasks.
  • pushing through exhaustion.
  • living with a mind that never slows down.
  • experiencing meltdowns, panic attacks, or shutdowns.

I help ADHD, Autistic, and AuDHD women who are tired of pushing through anxiety and overwhelm cultivate more peace, confidence, and ease in their lives.

When you're living with chronic anxiety and overwhelm, it affects every area of your life.

Work/school
You feel constantly behind.

Tasks feel too overwhelming to start, but procrastinating just makes you feel worse.

You spend a lot of energy worrying about mistakes, over-preparing, or trying to make everything perfect.

You take on more than your share because it's easier to do it yourself than it is to delegate or ask for help.
Marriage/Relationship
You avoid difficult conversations because you’re afraid of upsetting someone or being misunderstood.

You push your needs aside as resentment quietly builds.

Your parter has shared that they are feeling ignored but you just don't have the energy to connect.

You're unable to slow down enough to be present with them and you feel guilty.
Parenting
When you’re chronically anxious or overwhelmed, the sensory demands, constant decision-making, and emotional labor of parenting can leave you feeling irritable, depleted, and guilty.

You love your children deeply but you rarely feel like you’re doing the right thing.
Health
You live with constant tension, difficulty sleeping, digestive issues, headaches, chronic pain, or a nervous system that rarely feels settled.

Rest often feels difficult, even when you know you need it.
Friendships & Social life
You want connection, but find yourself withdrawing because you’re too drained or overstimulated.

Social interactions can involve a lot of self-monitoring and second-guessing afterward.

You feel guilty for not being a better friend.

You can break free from survival mode.

Over time, therapy begins to create space where there used to be constant pressure.

The endless loop of “I should's” and “Did I do something wrong?” begins to quiet.

Instead of reacting from overwhelm, you’re able to pause, think clearly, and respond more intentionally.

You start to understand why certain situations trigger anxiety, why boundaries have felt difficult, and why you’ve been carrying so much responsibility for others.

With that clarity comes a growing sense of self-trust.

My Approach to Therapy for Anxiety & Overwhelm

Understanding Your Patterns

We begin by slowing things down and making sense of your experiences.

Together we explore the factors that contribute to anxiety, overwhelm, and self-doubt.

When you understand why your mind and body respond the way they do, the shame and self-criticism begin to loosen their grip.

Regulating Your Nervous System

Many neurodivergent women live in a constant state of tension or emotional flooding.

Therapy becomes a place where your nervous system can finally settle.

Over time, you learn to recognize overwhelm earlier and how to respond in ways that recharge you instead of drain you.

Building Self-Trust

As we work together, you begin to connect with your needs, instincts, and strengths.

Instead of constantly second-guessing yourself or prioritizing everyone else’s expectations, you learn to make decisions that feel aligned and sustainable.

Therapy for anxiety & overwhelm helps you...

  • communicate your needs more clearly without so much fear of disappointing others.

  • set boundaries that protect your energy instead of constantly pushing yourself past your limits.

  • experience less emotional flooding and more peace in your body and mind.

  • feel less ruled by guilt, self-doubt, and the pressure to be everything to everyone.

  • be more present with those you care about.

  • experience rest that actually recharges you and doesn't just make you feel guilty or lazy.

  • make decisions that feel more aligned with what actually matters to you.

When you’re no longer living in survival mode, life doesn’t become perfect but it does become more enjoyable.

Frequently Asked Questions About Therapy for Anxiety & Overwhelm

Do you accept insurance for anxiety and overwhelm therapy?

No. Living Bridge Counseling is a private-pay therapy practice and does not bill insurance directly.

If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

I do accept HSA and FSA cards.

What is the cost of therapy?

Therapy sessions are $250 per session. Sessions are 50 minutes long.

Do you work with women who self-identify as ADHD, Autistic, or AuDHD but aren’t formally diagnosed?

Yes. You don’t need a formal diagnosis to work with me. Self-identification is valid.

Will you give me strategies, or is it more talk-based?

Both. You’ll have space to talk through what you’re experiencing and we’ll also explore strategies that are actually realistic for your life.

What is neurodivergent-affirming therapy?

Neurodivergent-affirming therapy is an approach that recognizes and respects differences in how peoples brains works, rather than trying to “fix” them.

Instead of pushing you to fit into rigid expectations, therapy focuses on understanding your patterns, reducing unnecessary pressure, and building strategies that actually work for you.

The goal is to support you in feeling more regulated, capable, and aligned with how you naturally function.
