SCHEDULE YOUR FREE 20-MINUTE CONSULTATION TO SEE IF I'M A GOOD FIT FOR YOU!
How long is a session?
Counseling sessions are 50 minutes long.
What is your fee?
The fee is $250 per 50 minute session.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept credit card, debit card, HSA/FSA card, cash, or check.
Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance. I can provide you with a Superbill at the end of the month for you to send to your insurance company to possibly receive full or partial reimbursement. Please confirm reimbursement rates for out-of-network providers and your current deductible with your insurance company before starting counseling. Not all insurance plans reimburse for out-of-network services.
Do you offer formal diagnostic testing for Autism or ADHD?
I do not offer formal diagnostic testing.
Do I need a diagnoses of ADHD or Autism to work with you?
Nope! Self-diagnosis is equally valid.
What if I'm not sure if I am neurodivergent?
Not a problem! I'm happy to help you find clarity.
Are you accepting new clients?
I am accepting new clients for both online and in person therapy.
How often will we meet?
I recommend we begin with weekly sessions. Overtime, you may choose to move to bi-weekly, then monthly sessions.
How is therapy with you different?
With me, you never need to apologize for asking too many questions, needing extra time to process information, or communicating "differently". Your emotions, experiences, and sensory needs are valid. As a neuroaffirming therapist, I won't try to change you or recommend strategies that don't work for your brain and nervous system. You are welcome to be your authentic self. If you don't know what that looks like, we can explore it together.
What can I expect if I decide to begin therapy?
THE PHONE CONSULTATION
To schedule your free 20-minute phone consultation, please fill out the contact form on my "contact me" page and include a brief explanation of what you're seeking support for. I'll email you back to set up a time to talk. During this conversation, we will go over what you are seeking support for and what you would like receive from our time together. I understand that some people find it easier to communicate in writing, so please feel free to send me an email before the phone consultation too. If you decide to move forward, we would schedule the first session. Prior to our initial session, I will send you the intake paperwork in a fillable PDF form for you to fill out and email back to me.
THE FIRST SESSION
My main goal during the first session is to get to know you better and for you to feel comfortable with me. We will talk more in-depth about you and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. We may go over some of your history, struggles, strengths, interests, experience with being neurodivergent, etc. The open ended nature of the first session can feel overwhelming for some people so please let me know if you would prefer a more structured approach. During this time we will also schedule your next session.

How long will therapy last?
This is different for every person. I believe that you will know when you are ready to end therapy and I welcome you to bring it up. Some people prefer to increase the time between sessions gradually before ending therapy completely.
