Getting Started

Are you accepting new clients?
I am currently accepting new clients for both in person therapy in my Roseville office as well as online therapy throughout California.

What can I expect if I decide to begin therapy?
1.) THE PHONE CONSULTATION
Before scheduling your first therapy session you will need to book you free 15-minute phone consultation. During this call, we will go over what you are seeking support for and what you would like receive from our time together. I will also answer any questions you may have. If you decide to move forward, we would schedule the first session.

2.) JOIN THE CLIENT PORTAL
After the phone consultation, I will email you a link to join my secure client portal. This is where you’ll fill out your initial intake and consent forms before our first session, manage your appointments, join virtual sessions, and input your payment information. You can also send me messages there directly.

3.) THE FIRST SESSION
My main goal during the first session is to get to know you better and for you to feel comfortable with me. We will talk more in-depth about you and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. We may go over some of your history, struggles, strengths, interests, experience with being neurodivergent, etc. The open ended nature of the first session can feel overwhelming for some people so please let me know if you would prefer a more structured approach. During this time we will also schedule your next session.

How long are sessions?

Fees and Insurance

Do you accept insurance?
No. I am an out-of-network provider and do not contract directly with any insurance plans. This allows me to focus fully on your care without insurance limitations.

If your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a detailed receipt, known as a Superbill, for you to submit for potential reimbursement. Please be sure to contact your insurance provider directly to understand your specific reimbursement options and coverage details.
What is your session fee?
The fee is $250 per 50 minute session.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept all major credit cards, cash, check, and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards.

Neurodivergent Therapy

Do I need a diagnoses of ADHD or Autism to work with you?
Nope! Self-identifying as neurodivergent is valid. Many women choose not to seek a formal diagnosis for a variety of reasons.

Some women are unsure if they are neurodivergent and begin therapy to explore this possibility in a safe neurodiversity-affirming space. If you decide you would like to pursue an assessment, I am happy to offer you referrals to providers that specialize in working with women.
