Marissa Williams, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Credentials
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the owner of Living Bridge Counseling. I began working as a therapist in graduate school at the Psychological Services Center at CSU, Sacramento in 2008 and worked with adults, teens, couples and families. I then worked for the San Juan Unified School District, both in the school setting and at the White House Counseling Center, where I worked with mostly children, teens, and their families. After completing my Masters in Counseling Psychology I interned at Hearts and Hands Counseling, a non-profit community counseling center, where I enjoyed working with children, teens, adults, couples and families.
Through the years I have helped people with a variety of challenges including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, low-self esteem, ADHD, Autism Spectrum disorders, Bi-polar disorder, parent training, behavioral issues, grief and loss, anger, life transitions, divorce, childhood abuse and much more. In addition to counseling, I worked as a tutor as well as a Behavioral Consultant for seven years with children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders.
